What is a Limited Edition Photograph?

A Darius Turner Limited Edition Photograph is a photograph that can only be printed a set number of times. Edition numbers are very strict, and depend on the size of the print and the framing options chosen. The purpose of having a set edition size is to make the photograph a collectable, and as more photographs of the same image are sold they grow in value. Each Limited Edition Photograph is numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. A Darius Turner Limited Edition Photograph will grow in value as time goes on.

What framing options can I choose?

You can choose to have your photograph framed in the traditional manner, or presented as a stretched canvas print on a wooden frame. When it comes to framing, you can choose from dozens of different colours and styles of timber. All frames are made with Australian timber, and each photograph is custom framed in Australia to suit your needs. The photograph is also bordered with a coloured mat board of your choosing. If you like, we can choose the frame and mat board which best suits your photograph. Prices quoted on the image page are for standard framing, and some extra charges may apply depending on which style of frame you choose. Our art consultants will gladly discuss these options with you at the time of your order.

What is a stretched canvas print?

A stretched canvas print is a photograph printed onto canvas and then stretched around a wooden frame. Once the photograph has been printed on the high quality canvas it is then laminated. Laminating the canvas protects the image from dust and also gives it an added strength. Stretched Canvas Prints come ready to hang and are a great way to decorate the home or office in a contemporary style. Stretched Canvas Prints are also limited in edition numbers and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

What is a mounted photograph?

A mounted photograph is a Darius Turner Photograph which has been mounted and ready to frame. A Mat Board frames the photograph and a foam core backing gives the photograph strength so that it can be mounted straight onto your wall. Mounted Photographs are a great gift idea, and can be easily taken overseas to give to family and freainds as souvenirs of Australia. Mounted Photographs are also and affordable way to decorate the home or office.

How can I order and make payment?

You can order in a variety of ways. Firstly, by going to our Order Now page you can order online. Secondly, simply send an email to info@dariusturner.com and we will get back to you promptly to confirm your order. And finally, by phone on 0401 341 650.

Payment can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer, Cheque made payable to Darius Turner Photography and Bpay. We will give you more information on making payment at the time of your order.

How much will postage cost me?

Postage for Mounted Boards is AU$7.95 to anywhere in Australia. We will give you a quote for postage on larger framed items at the time of your order. The quote will not exceed AU$19.95. Where possible we will organise free delivery within the Sydney Metro area.

What is the best way to frame and store photographs?

It is highly recommended that photographs are not hung in direct sun light. The best way to present your Darius Turner Photograph is to hang on an indoor wall with downlights pointed at an angle towards the photograph.

How often is the online collection updated?

Our first collection went online in December 2006, and since then has been updated twice. Darius is adding to his collection on a weekly basis, and we endeavour to keep you up to date with all of the latest images from around the country. There is sure to be a lot of images to add to the Darius Turner collection when he returns from Africa in early 2008.

I am after an image of a particular location, but can't find it on the website. Can I request images from locations which don't appear on the site?

Certainly. Darius is always keen to learn where people would like a photograph taken. If you are looking for a theme for your home or office send us an email or give us a call and we will let you know how we can help you.

Are there discounts for multiple purchases?

If you are purchasing multiple images we are happy to discuss a discount.
