We drove straight from the port in Savaii in our hired 4WD to this secluded waterfall and swimming hole.The waterfall is known by the locals as Afu Aau. About 500 metres before the waterhole is a small hut where you stop and pay a few dollars before driving down a muddy track. We ended up having the whole place to ourselves for about half an hour. The water was so fresh, and swimming underneath the waterfall you could really feel it's power. Afu Aau really felt like an untouched and tranquil place.
